Refund policy

Last reviewed on 30 May 2026. This page explains when and how we refund payments on JOTMILL.
1. Subscription refunds
- 14-day satisfaction window. If you cancel a paid subscription within 14 days of your first paid billing date and have not consumed more than 20% of your monthly allowances, we will refund the full charge.
- Cancel at period end. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period and no further charges occur.
- No partial-month refunds. After the 14-day window we do not refund unused time in the current billing period unless required by law.
2. Ad-spend refunds
Ad placements use escrow. Once an advertiser pays for a slot, the funds are held until the slot goes live.
- Within 24 hours of go-live. An advertiser can self-serve a full refund from their dashboard.
- Auto-refund. If a slot has not gone live within 60 days, the auto-refund cron returns the funds automatically.
- Manual release. If the slot has run as expected, the advertiser releases the funds to the creator manually or the 7-day auto-release cron does so on their behalf.
3. Failed deliveries / platform issues
If a payment was charged twice, the slot was cancelled before going live, or our service experienced a major outage during the period, contact support@jotmill.com for a manual refund. Include your account email and the affected payment ID.
4. How to request
- From your dashboard, open the relevant subscription or ad placement.
- Click "Cancel" (subscriptions) or "Request refund" (ad placements).
- If self-service is not available for your situation, email support@jotmill.com.
5. Refund timing
Approved refunds usually appear on your payment method within 5 - 10 business days; the exact timing depends on your card issuer or bank.
