How it works

JOTMILL is one platform that serves three roles. The same account can play any of them, the same subscription unlocks all three sides. Here is what each side does.

For readers

1. Browse the feed. A unified feed across nine content modes (Social, Business, Sports, Tech, and more). Filter by mode, category, or follow specific authors.
2. Subscribe to a plan. One plan covers reading, listening, and watching. Free tier ships with monthly minute caps; paid tiers (Starter / Plus / Pro / Ultra) raise the ceiling.
3. Follow newsletters. Subscribe to any author and receive their stories as a digest in your inbox. Newsletters never include the full story — links bring you back to the platform.
4. Manage everything from your profile. See active subscriptions, billing history, and email preferences in one place.

For creators

1. Publish across formats. Written, audio, and video — all live in the same feed and reach the same audience.
2. Grow your audience. Build segments from your subscribers, send newsletters with the built-in editor, and watch the analytics dashboard.
3. Sell ad slots. Add ad slots inside your published content. Advertisers buy them at the price you set; funds sit in escrow until the slot runs.
4. Get paid. Subscription revenue, ad placement payouts, and bid commissions all settle through your wallet, withdrawn via Stripe Connect.

For advertisers

1. Browse available ad slots. See all open slots across creators with filter by mode, category, and price.
2. Buy a slot or run a campaign. Pay the listed price for a direct slot, or post a campaign and let creators bid with proposals.
3. Upload your creative. Attach the ad asset at booking time. When the slot goes live, the creative renders next to the creator's content.
4. Release payment when satisfied. Funds are held in escrow until you release them. If you take no action, a 7-day auto-release ships them to the creator; if the slot never goes live, a 60-day auto-refund returns the money to you.

Payments, escrow and support

Payments are processed by Stripe; ad-spend lives in JOTMILL's escrow until the placement runs. For anything not covered above, email support@jotmill.com — we read every message.
